Unfortunately, it is not always possible to accurately identify the Artist and ISRC for all Compositions. A common issue with collecting copyright fees is the lack of a connection between the musical Composition and the audio recording (phonogram) with the specific Artist and ISRC code.
This can be due to the way the Composition is used on platforms such as YouTube, where a user may create a cover version of a work and the platform does not provide information about the artist or ISRC.
To better process reports, we recommend using catalog numbers for Compositions or filtering by the Authors column rather than the Artists column.
